How Often does one attend therapy?

Therapy is evidenced to be most helpful and beneficial when it is consistent, and an individual is committed. Weekly to biweekly sessions are recommended in the initial meetings to allow you to stay present with where you’re at emotionally, while helping you to stay connected and aware or your reasons and goals for attending therapy. I also realize that people are busy in their lives.  If making time for therapy is a concern for you, or if you are seeking therapy to maintain the changes and gains you’ve already created in your life, less frequent visits may be appropriate.

FEES and Payment

Initial intake assessment: $200

45 minute standard therapy session: $170

60 minute extended therapy session: $190

How do I know if therapy is for me?

I’m frequent told by clients that their reasons for coming to therapy aren’t “big enough” or “severe” enough.  Your life does not have to feel like in shambles in order to seek out support. Most people who see a therapist are struggling with everyday hardships ranging from transitions, parenting, work stress, marital unhappiness, anxiety, and find having a neutral person to process outside of your family and friends. If you find yourself thinking often about a problem, it takes up more than 50% of your day, you're having a difficult time performing basic activities of daily living  Therapy may be a helpful option for you.
